Design Team Challenge #17: Circles

Hi All,

Thanks for stopping by.  Well, here is my take on the Circles Challenge for the Design Team.   decided to highlight my pups-Jazzy and Angel. They are Shih Zhu's and they totally do not know that they are dogs!!!

Angel is 11 and Jazzy is 8.  Angel is the mother, but Jazzy is bigger and bossier!!

For this challenge, I needed to use  2 of the following:circles, sewing, patterned paper.

So, I know I wanted to highlight the photos of the pups, so I decided to cut them into circles.  The patterned paper is used is a full sheet of embossed dog bones cut into 1 inch squares.  I really like the way it came out- I hope you do to.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!

Shannon, love the bone paper. I've seen that before and it is pretty. I have not tried cutting an entire sheet of patterned 12x12 paper into 1" square yet...will have to try that in the near future. Nice job with the layout. Like the bone diecut and the paw print too. Lol at the photos of your babies with those tongues! Too cute!

Embossed dog bone paper - I bet that looks great in person! (We never really see the full effects in photos.) Do the bones have glitter on them too? I thought it might look a little "sparkled". Your dogs are adorable. Love the paw print - the texture looks neat is it felt?

Shannon, at first glance you had me playing tic-tac-toe! Cutting the photos of the dogs in circles was a new idea! and...you've already given me ideas to try something else out!! The colors of the dogs are nicely emphasized by your black mat and the tans or neutrals in the patterned paper. Now are the dogs sticking out their tongues at you (like my kids often do)? Or are they awaiting a treat??? funny!
