Fall Fun at the Beach

I went to visit my son and his family at their new home at the beach. South Carolina is noted for their beautiful beaches and my son moved his family to Surfside Beach. It is just a little south of Myrtle Beach. I am not someone who likes to deal with all the sand and don't like laying out in the sun, so I mainly just walk on the beach. I especially like it in cooler weather. The weather was just right when I visited!
The main reason for going was to help out with my grandson while his mom was gone on a business trip for her new job. Picked Kegan up from school and also went with him to karate lessons and cub scouts. It has been a while since his dad was the same age and I had to go to scouts with him. I enjoyed spending time with Kegan's other grandmother this trip. We went to lunch and also had dinner at her place. Kegan is lucky to have one grandmother living nearby. The week flew by fast with trips to antique stores and art museums on the agenda as well as the beach. There is really a lot to do in Myrtle Beach. Now if we could only sell our house and buy one in the mountains, it would be perfect. A place to go to the beach and for them to come to the mountains. We could even switch off sometime.
