August Design Team Challenge - Straw Paper

This year's summer reading program at our local Library is called "Catch the 'Title' Wave"

I have used this same surfing paper from BoBunny in a previous mosaic layout with a similar design - allowing the waves and seagulls to overlap the grid squares, but it was so very appropriate with this layout that I just had to revisit it!!!

I love the wave too! And the companion page fills in the necessary information. Great idea for a library page!

I love the wave cut out and how it blends into the page. WOW! That was "out of the box" thinking! I also LOVE how you incorporated the library brochure into the left page. That helps to tell the story. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing!

I "ditto" Andrea's and Sarah's comments. I really love the use of the wave cutout and am keep that idea in mind for some beach pictures. I think it would work well with some other subjects too.
