Fun at King's Dominion

My grandkids are so lucky to live relatively close to both Busch Gardens and King's Dominion in Virginia. Seasons' tickets really pay off in keeping the kids entertained over the summer!  These are shots of the kids one weekend right before school started back in 2010. I love the expressions on their faces - such a mixture of glee and fright!

This layout was done on husk grid paper, our paper of the month, and I used the stamp set Summer Seals for the corner elements and the little miniature roller coaster at the bottom of the page. There is a little squiggley line in the set that worked perfectly for the track! As our layout required sixteen 2 1/8" squares, my new 2 1/8" punch got a workout and I loved it! SOOOOO much quicker than measuring and cutting each one!

Neat layout, simple but beautiful! I agree the 2 1/8" punch makes it fast.

Very cool! I love the simple title and I think the blue corners add a lot to the page. LOVE the use of a lot of 2X2 photo's!! I want to do a "year in review" page like this with my leftover photos!

The color combos here are really Great! Getting the up close shots of your grand-kids really captures the delight in what they are doing. So precious! Using that dotted stamp for the rolled coaster was brilliant! A very nice job, Nancy!

I love how you used the squiggly line stamp as your roller coaster. The photos of the kid's faces are wonderful in the 2" squares. I also really like the 2 1/8" punch. It makes popping out those squares so much easier and faster!!
