Early Morning Light
This challenge was a real CHALLENGE for me! Early morning and I don't get along any more! I finally managed to pry my eyelids open yesterday and took these pictures at about 7:10am. I did get some nice pictures!. As I was going through them to decide which ones to use for my layout, I kept coming back to this one photo. I decided to use it with an Easter theme.
The sun shining through the trees reminded me of the many sunrise services I've attended over the years. I had just gotten this stamp that fit perfectly - if you can't read it, it says, "Spring bursts today, for Christ is risen and all the earth's at play. Christina G. Rossetti."

I absolutely love the theme! Wish I had thought of it. Being a Christian all my life, your layout is so meaningful to me personally. The overall look is just super--the stamp treatment finishes it off perfectly. I somehow missed seeing yours until today. Sorry.

This is a beautiful photo. I love your label and how you made the punch fit in with the look of the trees. The black mat is perfect with this photo.

Absolutely stunning! Such a simple picture, yet a strong message for Christians. Spring doesn't always have to be bright pastels!

Andrea, the stamp is by Verses Rubber Stamps (EA0258-E). And the mat I made with a new Martha Stewart punch-around-the-page punch I fell in love with! I thought it went well with the branches. I then added a thin border with peel-offs from Magenta and four rhinestones in the corners.

The sun breaking through the trees is a nice contrast. Making it an Easter theme, especially with this weekend was great! Good thinking. Love the mat for your Rosetti stamp (who makes that?)...is that cut work? Happy Easter to you too!
