Pompeii
March Project #2
Using Mosaic Moments pattern #3, I created a layout from duplicate photos of our visit to Pompeii last summer. It was a day excursion off of a cruise we took last summer. It was fascinating to see all that was uncovered and take a glimpse into the life of these people during the height of the Roman Empire. Many statues, urns and vessels were uncovered as well as original wall art and mosaic tiled floors. Brick ovens, water pipes and housing structures are other sights to see as you walk along the cobblestone pathways. It was truly a unique experience!

Yes, I too love the paper! The crackle effect on the paper is very appropriate for the theme. The pictures are awesome! As many times as I've been to Italy, can you believe I've never been to Pompeii:0 Guess, we'll have to plan a trip:)

I love the colors combined with the subject. Also, using the mosaics like that give me a sense of how you were surrounded by what you were seeing. Fantastic.

Wonderful pictures terrific choice of accent paper.
Great subject as a person that enjoys history I was transported back to the Roman Empire.

The center journaling spot looks great with the surrounding photos and I really like your accent paper. It gives just the right feel to your project. Makes me want to go to Pompeii!

What great pictures and such a beautiful way to showcase them. The page pattern is perfect for the subject. I really like your choice of accent paper. We visited Pompeii a few years ago and were fascinated. Wish I had waited to scrap those pics and used the mosaic process. However, my pics weren't as good quality as yours. Great job!
