Quiet Before the Chaos

We took these pictures early Christmas morning while the grandkids were still asleep. The house is so quiet, and peaceful, and pretty. But isn't it beautiful when the noise, and piles of paper, and fun begins!?

The challenge was to use page pattern #19, this color of Mosaic Moments grid paper, and one of a series of elements - I chose to use one of the free downloads available on the website - the phrase "In the Quiet Moments" just seemed to fit and it had a wonderful space for journaling!

I like the play between the variety of the snowflakes and the way the pictures of the tree look like window panes. This layout does have a peaceful/relaxing feeling to it, doesn't it? Ahhh . . . . I just have to wonder, though, whare are the "after" pictures? :)

I love the idea of taking pics while the house is quiet and still "intact." I, too, especially like the top where it seems like I'm looking into your windows. Good job!

Beautiful background papers. And I like your journaling block filling up one of the photo spots. A very pretty page.

Aren't those peaceful moments so precious? and so short lived! Your top blocks with the trees look like you're outside looking in!

Nancy, I love this. Takes me back to Christmas Eve - (after the kids are tucked in for the night and Kevin and I have finished our job.) I like to sit on the couch for a little while before we go to bed and just soak in that peaceful moment.
