Design Challenge #2

As soon as I thought about this challenge, I knew that I wanted to do a tribute to my Grandmother who is now 107 amazing years young. She is a special woman and has always been a big part of my life. These photos depict her life from a young girl until her 100th birthday (7 years ago) where she is shown in the center photo. There haven't been many photos taken since then, but I was very happy to look through boxes of old photos to find many of the ones shown here.

My Grandmother was the wife of a doctor, is the mother of 2 daughters, grandmother of 5 grandchildren and great grandmother of 3. She was a woman always ahead of her time and has always been the glue that holds our family together. I am lucky to have her in my life.

Thanks, everyone, for the positive comments. It made me very happy to make this page. I hope to take Linda's advice and do a matching page with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Love the page layout Beth. You are so fortunate to have your Grandmother and all those pictures too! Gosh what I would do to have pictures, stories, or even hand writing from my Grandma for my genealogy scrapbook. I'm having to rely on Ancestry for most of it. Really nice job.

Love this layout - it's a great one to use when you have a lot of pictures just like you arranged them! Your grandmother is a beautiful lady!

Oh Beth, how wonderful...I'm a nut about genealogy and having your grandma around to share her life and be able to document her life here in pictures is so valuable.

What a wonderful tribute to a special lady! I should take your lead and find pictures of my own grandparents - scraplifting, anyone?
