Winter Wonder
In our first design team challenge, Winter Wonder, we were asked to photograph 5 things that mean winter to us. My 5 items are snow boots, firewood, a shovel, a new scarf and pair of gloves and a clock. I chose the boots, shovel and firewood for the obvious reasons since you only use them in winter. Then I chose the new scarf and gloves because I love scarves and receive many as gifts, but I also like to buy an new scarf and pair of gloves at the beginning of the winter. My last item was a clock because when we change the clocks for Daylight Savings Time in the winter, and it gets dark so early, that really feels like winter to me. I surrounded these items with the feeling of winter by using photos of dry leaves and bare trees. I liked how the sunset and clouds were visible through the bare trees giving it the feeling of a winter day.
