Design Team Challenge #21

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for stopping by my page to check out my work. So for this challenge, we were sent on an autumn scavenger hunt!! It was lots of fun! I had the perfect outing planned for this photo shoot! My husband and I went "glamping" Yes, glamping! It's actually camping with all of the great amenities of home, like heat, indoor plumbing, running water, fridge, flat screen TV with DVD player-yeah, glaming is the word to describe it!!

So, for 3 1/2 days, I had time to really appreciate the outdoors and nature and having this challenge as a scavenger hunt really made it a worthwhile adventure. I was able to capture about half of what was on the list, but I couldn't fit all of them on the layout! Oh well!

The photos I took-

I could not stop taking pictures of leaves! They were all soooo pretty. I found some really awesome views of wild flowers, or what I thought were wild flowers anyway! But, they were beautiful.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year to me. I look forward it every year. I just love all of the warm colors it brings. I had over 100 photos and I wish I could have fit all of them on my layout.

The list that I included on my layout are broken up across both pages on 1x3 inch strips!

Fall pictures make beautiful, colorful layouts! I love this layout and I hope you do as well!

Getting everything onto one layout was the hardest part, wasn't it? I had lots of left over photos, too! You did a nice job of highlighting the ones you did use, and I really like the rose one with the shadows. Your journaling strips are a great way to have listed your items, and the leaves on them are a great touch. Nice job, Shannon!

Glamping sounds like a lot of fun! Fall Fever is a Great title and I really like the strips with journaling on them. Reminds me of a nature journal. Both are great additions to your fall images.

Shannon, working a vacation into the challenge was brilliant! A very nice layout, love how you've used 1x3 strips for tagging the items on your list and the use of a leaf as a bullet-point,too. I think this layout shows how much you've grown this year and I'm glad you enjoyed thinking outside of the box for this one, be sure to put some of those "extra" photos into another layout!! Good Job!!
