MMDT Challenge #14: Risi

Challenge #14  - Photo Challenge - Inspired by… Series of Images

 POST WINDOW: July 15 - 21st.

Choose a subject and photograph a series of images based on that subject.

Hi Everyone!!

I'm still trying to get my house in a livable condition, so I've been busy with painting, unpacking, repairs, etc. This challenge almost got away from me, but I finally decided to just sit my pups down and take their pictures. Poor little Ming is terrified of the camera for some reason, so I had to use Risi as my subject. And willing she was! She posed very nicely for me on a dining room chair, and then a little peanut butter on the tongue for some funny faces!

I used Bahama Blue for the Grid Paper because I think it makes her coat look striking. The page pattern is #29 from www.tamipotter.com and the designer paper is a retired pattern from Stampin Up! The title is printed in a font called Fiolex Girls on So Saffron cardstock from SU!

I hope you enjoy my series!!

As I write this post, I hear three dogs downstairs waiting for my husband to take them outside for their morning constitutional -- two are barking and one is howling. That said, I enjoyed this layout and the personality points you captured via peanut butter. Dogs aren't the easiest to shoot, but you did an incredible job.

I really love the title and the font, but the hearts embellishing the words are great. Getting a dog to pose is not easy, but you were lucky yours was such a willing subject. The poses are adorable.

Very fun! Cute pup! And I agree with the others...the blue was a great background color. Nice job!

Love all the photos of Risi! Gotta love those ears and all that hair, she is beautiful. The blue was a great idea with black and white. I'll have to remember the peanut butter trick. Good idea:)

Risi was indeed a willing subject and posed well. That peanut butter certainly added comic relief! This was a good pattern to use for your series. Your're right the blue gives a nice contrast to the black and white of the photos.

Heather, Your Risi is adorable! I love her (him?)! It's a beautiful layout and I love the colors against the blue. Very nice clean layout-as usual. When I grow up in scrapbooking I want to be like you and Andrea!!!! lol!!! :)

Fun Page Heather. It reminds me of the pop art created by Andy Warhol.
