Cleverly disguised as sweet...

For this page, I used the raspberry colored grid paper from Mosaic Moments. This paper can be found at snapncrop.com. Additionally, I used a variety of paper from the company, My Minds Eye.

For this page, I wanted to incorporate both a large circle as well as a banner. PS I am in love with banners!!!

This time, using a circle in the mosaic moments design was much easier than before!!! If you want to try it sometime, glue a circle (less than 11 inches in diameter) onto a piece of coordinating card stock that is 11 1/8 inch wide. From there, simply treat the whole sheet as one piece of paper and cut it however you like. It really is that easy!!!

I used my daughters as the focus for this page. The reason this photo is so dear to me is because my youngest looks so sweet. If you knew my little girl, you would know that she is not the type to give that little peck on the cheek. She is more likely the type to lick you or play some other trick on you if you put your face that close to hers.

Hence the title: "Cleverly disguised as sweet."

Stretching is good. This is one more absolutely stunning example of how versatile MM grid paper is. Ideas are just popping in my head about the endless possibilities you've uncovered (or perhaps layered) in this layout. Thank you so much.

OK, I can't stop looking at this page! There's so much detail!! I'm studying the layering...I love that you inked the edges of all your tile squares and is that glitter around the edge of the circle?? I just noticed the beads coming out from under the flowers, which are gorgeous, by the way! So many patterns and textures and it all comes together so well! I think this is my favorite page I've seen so far! LOVE it!!

So did she take a bite after you snapped this shot?? I love this page, Billi! Great colors and I love the patterned paper you used for the circle. I like banners, too, but I never used one because I was never sure what to do with it. You did a great job with yours! Nice job on the layering! What a fabulous looking page!!

The photo is so incredibly adorable; how great that you were able to catch that moment (as rare as you say it is.) Your flower embellishments compliment your patterned paper nicely!
