2013 Design Team Challenge #4: Inspired by Disney-CARS!!

Hi All!

Thank you for stopping by! This week's challenge was to use Disney as inspiration. I absolutely LOVE Disney so I knew this would be fun! I had a few ideas floating in my mind, but then WHAM! we decided to spend the day in DC at the Auto Show-this is perfect I thought! CARS! While I liked all of the cars there, my favorite were the old classics. They looked so good. No, we couldn't sit in any of the classics as they were all roped off, but I had fun posing with them and taking photos of them! There were many signs all around the classics saying "look, but please don't touch" I had to get a photo of that! And a photo of my pretending to touch a Trans Am!! Priceless!

So now for the layout:

This is the right side of the layout. Pierre Garcion (wide receiver) for the Washington Redskins was there to sign autographs and take pictures.

I love the zaniness of your page. The colors work well, the layout helps tell your story. I just have one question. What's in the bag?

Looks so fun! I too would want to touch all of the cars...or better yet, sit in them and drive them! :) Nice job!

Your page is so vibrant and I really like the top of the page using the one inch square mosaic. Very brave.

Great movie and great layout! My husband and son go the the auto show every year. I used to go, but now it's "their" thing. Great colors, photos's (especially the one where you are pretending to touch)and the twine is a nice touch.

A bright and bold layout, so very reminiscent of the movie Cars, nice job! Love the Mustang! Now what you need to do is mosey out here to the mid-west in the summer when the classic car owners find an empty lot on the weekend to gather and pop their hoods to show off their engines...when even I could find my way around! You'd love the collection and the atmosphere!

Wow, it looks great. I have never been to an auto show- it looks pretty cool. I must admit, I like the photo of you pretending to touch the cars the most! Great pages Shannon!
