Cats in Hats!

I love to look at all the crazy pictures of cats on the Internet. I save my favorites to my screen saver and they make me smile all day while I'm working on my other computer. When I heard our challenge this time was to use a Dr. Seuss book as our inspiration, I KNEW it would be The Cat in the Hat! I used my 2 1/8" punch to punch our the pictures of the cats and used brick Paper Tiles for my embellishments. I have a tiny cat punch that I used to add to the 1" tiles. Finally I added a small pictures of The Cat in the Hat.

By the way, the two pictures of the cat at the top in the bridal veil are my sweet Nikko who passed away about a year ago. I made the veil for her out of the left-over pieces from the pew bows I made for my daughter's wedding. Doesn't she look sweet? In the one, she looks like she's praying (that Mom will please take this veil off!)

This page is so cute and funny! I love all of the cats in hats! I just keep looking at all of them! Cats are such people, aren't they???? I love the title and the 1" blocks around it with the cats-very, very cute!

How do people get their cats to sit still for that? My cats would never have played dress up - not without lots of scratches involved... Nice job on the layout!

People and their pets! It never ceases to amaze me what shows up on the internet! The cat punch adds an interesting element to the center boarder framing the title very nicely! Clever take on the challenge too!
