Nutty Squirrels!!!

Hi! Thank you for stopping by! I just love this scrapbooking system, it's soo practical and quick and different. I love how I can get many different looks from the same idea. What got my on this scrapbooking journey is my desire  scrapbook all of my Navy memorabilia and photos.  I have over 1,000 photos from my time in Japan alone, not to mention awards and other stuff. I love how I can put 4-5 photos on one page.

Here I am in Japan with Jenn.  I was fairly new when she invited me to see the Big Buddah in Japan.  After seeing it, we stopped at a near by park and fed squirrels! I was very afraid at first, but eventually, I loosened up a bit. Those squirrels came right up to us. I was more scared then they were!

This is a page that I tried something different.  I cannot remember the color of grid paper, but it was a light color. Then I took some Plum Tinz (sold at the online store for Mosaic Memories) and I went back and forth in a sweeping motion across the paper and let it dry, then I added my photos and tiles.  This is one of the first pages I did and I am sooo proud of it.

Again, Thanks for stopping by!!

Nice page and colors with cute photos. Wow! In Missouri squirrels are a pest. I wouldn't think about feeding them. But it's nice to know that somewhere there are cute, fuzzy varmits getting fed in Japan :)
