June's first design team challenge was challenging for me! We needed to select a person and match that person up with an element that matches their personality.

I was discussing the challenge with my son and he wanted to be the feature of my page this month. He thought that WATER is an element that best fits his personality because of its many properties. It is fluid, it can become solid, it is sometimes calm but can be whipped into a frenzy when coupled with other elements.

My son has always loved playing in the water. From an early age, he loved the tub, playing with hoses and just getting wet. In addition to a current photo of him, I found some baby/toddler pictures of him playing in the water plus I selected water pictures of places we have visited together: the Oregon Coast, rafting the Salmon River and the Great Wolf water park.

Lastly, I wanted to find a quote about water and did some internet searching. I found an ancient quote that sums up the properties of water and some of my son's traits.
