Easter Egg Hunt 2012

Our second challenge for May was to use sunflower grid paper, page pattern 13, and either multiple journal spots, a quote or a poem. I knew I wanted to find a subject for which I had lots of pictures, so, in looking through my un-scrapped photos, I found this set from my grandkids' Easter Egg Hunt this year. My daugher has always held a hunt for the family's kids every Easter. I didn't have a lot to journal, so I looked on the web for a poem to use - and I found a perfect one!

Hope you enjoy my page!

The pink swiss dot paper and blue paper pick up the colors in the photos very nicely. I love that there is real action going on as you can see them running to get to the search. It looks like a lovely spring day, so nice to see the green of the trees and blooms included.

I am going to have to use the poem with my four granddaughters Easter egg hunt photos. Your layout is absolutely great.
