The New Face of...AARP?

Kevin and I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. As the cashier was ringing up the total amount due, Kevin realized he was going to be a little short on cash and asked me if I had some change. I started to get my wallet out and the lady at the register said, "Just a minute," as she finished the total.

She informed Kevin of the total -  it ended up being less than he expected. Kevin said, "Never mind, [the change] I don't need it." Then he turned to the cashier and said, "I don't know what you did, but thanks!"

The cashier smiled and informed Kevin that every Tuesday and Thursday they offer a 5% senior citizens discount.

Kevin, who just turned 47, may have wanted to take back that thank you. : )
