Snickerdoodles

April's second DT challenge was to use Raspberry grid paper and Mosaic Moments page pattern #10. I chose to use an oversized title for my optional design element.

I was trying out a new Snickerdoodles cookie recipe and thought it would be fun to do a photo essay of my baking session. My dad loves snickerdoodles. My parents went to Arizona for the winter and I thought dad might enjoy a tin of homemade cookies. Hopefully, he shared a couple with mom!

Snickerdoodles are my favorite! And the layout is pretty nice, too ;)

I agree with all of the above! The combination of orange and pink is great, the bakers twine is perfect and the lettering give the page a fun look! The close up photos give great detail to the cookies and the process of baking them.

I can almost smell those cookies! My favorite part is the lettering, and I'm anxious to use your idea. Good job!

I love the variety in your letters. That adds so much dimension and interest to the page. Very fun page.

Cookies from home are always well received, no doubt they were a hit! Love the eclectic look of the title with styles and sizes. Did you texture your top two orange sections? Nice touch. And I agree with Tami the baker's twine was a perfect choice to wrap things up with!

I love the title! What a fun way to write a really fun word! The cookies look really yummy. I am sure your Dad had a hard time sharing them. The bakers twin was the perfect choice to embellish with. :)

Love the combination of the orange and pink colors! And I love snickerdoodles too! Fun page - I like the different sized letters of your title and how they kind of bounce off the grid - makes it fun.
