Soccer

My beautiful niece, Samantha, is a soccer super star.  She absolutely loves the game.  Because she is constantly growing, she always looks forward to getting new soccer shoes.  Almost every year, she has gone with the pinkest pink soccer shoes we could find. 

In the Fall of 2010, she was assigned to a team whose uniforms were a neon green.  Before she had even seen her jersey, she picked out these PURPLE shoes with neon green accents!  I couldn't believe it!  Of course we had to go to several stores to find the right shoes in her size, but I was just blown away by her final choice.  She was THRILLED with them.

For this layout, I used the cypress paper and page pattern we were assigned.  I matted the shoe shots on neon green paper and used strips of soccer balls and soccer ribbon as accents.
