Aliens Guide to the Bad Lands

When I read the theme for this month I thought of a trip I took to South Dakota and the Bad Lands National Park. The Bad Lands is like being on another planet from the color of the rocks to the huge craters that show up around most every turn. For my layout I used Mosaic Moments 12x12 granite paper.

The quote I chose from the book reminded of the pictures there is so much land there and nothing happens for miles on end. "For a moment, nothing happened. Then after a second or so, nothing continued to happen". The alien embellishment is chip board and came from a vendor at a crop I was attending while working on the layout. My table mate Sally let me use her Stamping Up metallica colored pencils to color him in, I used my Copic Markers for his eyes, and then I covered him with liquid glass to make him shine.
