Tennis Anyone?

My stepdaughter is always looking for things the kids can do in the summer when school is out. She's always been a good shopper - she can find amazing deals on almost anything. I guess necessity is the mother of invention. In any case - she is also finding good deals on summer activities. She enrolled Nathan and Gavin, my grandsons, in tennis lessons. Here they are learning the game. Hot - but fun!

I thought this would work well for this month's Design Team challenge to use a panoramic view on Sandstone Grid Paper with Page Pattern 59.  I used a few leftover pieces from the photos at the bottom - even though they are trees, they're not really recognizable as trees, and I thought the dark color would frame the page well!

Hi Nancy!!!! Nice seeing you! I hope you are feeling well these days, I've missed you!! I like how you used lime green paper to mat your photos, it really makes the tennis balls pop off the pages!!! Great job!

Nancy, what a great idea for a panoramic photo shot! Nice colors and action photos too. Also like the green mats. Looks like the boys were having fun :)

Summer camp seems to be a right of passage for kids and I think it is great that you are recording this for them to remember in future years. Just a thought - I would love to have seen a couple of close ups on the page to add variety. (May be a close up of that stack of equipment in the basket, or of the kids facial expression as they played.) I know it can be difficult to get those shots if you don't have a good zoom. Great job - Thanks for sharing!

Tennis, a great summer activity for the boys to be apart of and what a great subject for a pan-shot! The trees in the layout work nicely with the Sandstone Grid, too. It's amazing how the tennis balls stand out because of the lime green matting...nice touch!

First, glad to "see" you! You're photos DID make for a good panoramic, gives a good impression of a full court. And you are right...the dark squares at the bottom do line the bottom well! I especially like the green color you used to mount the middle photos...it goes great with the tennis theme! And the boys look like they are having fun! Nice job, Nancy!
