This is Me!

When I first started this assignment it did not seem difficult.  I had my favorite cocoa brown grid paper picked out along with the coordinating papers in November.  Even had an idea of how the layout would look.  Then in late December I got stuck...wondering why did I sign up for this?  As much as I love Mosaics I couldn't think of what to do. Time to slow down and think.

I made a list of stuff about me - good and not so good. Then I thought to follow a format used in a secret sister swap in October in Branson, Missouri. It was a simple list of questions to answer.  Update...could not remember the questions, so I skipped that and moved on. Then on Saturday I remembered a website Tammy mentioned way last year called Wordle.  Gave that a try and really liked the results. So as of Saturday both pages set half completed.

The hard part of this assignment was to find pictures of me! Dabbled on Sunday with arrangement and how to fill in the blanks. Normally, this is not an issue.  On to Monday dug deep and found an old picture of me and some me things. Back to work on those pages:)

After much pondering I was done by 1100a.m.  Then we will see how many hours it takes me to post this...haven't done it in  a while.  Well it's Wednesday and I'm still trying to post.  Hope you enjoy it.

Update...did I mention I'm not a techie? Posted wrong page 2 and had to edit. The first page 2 did not have journaling on the journaling card.  Sorry.

These introductions have been fabulous. I love everything about these layouts, but especially the list "Iam..." and the Wordle. I need to go look at that! This is going to be another great, inspiring year for sure with this team.

I love the Wordle list too! What a fun way to journal many details about yourself. Can't help being attracted to your page - love the "This is me" title, love pink on cocoa, the Raggedy Ann & Andy shot is too cute and I love the then and now theme. Looking forward to seeing more of your creative work during the coming year.

Well Julie, your trip to Wordle paid off! You managed to tell a lot about you in one block and it looks great! Your title is bold and incorporates all your colors nicely. I like the use of the word "documented" on you file card about "Me" it is powerful. I'm so glad you used photos of yourself in this layout, even finding an old one from "then." The 'then and now' side was a great way to give us a look at a 'history of you'. Well done! Your writing style gives us a feel for your sense of humor too, we're going to have a great year...Welcome to the 2013 MM Design Team so glad to have you aboard! (glad you were able to salvage this message too!)
