Small Crop, Big Heart

My friend and business associate Melissa and I thoroughly enjoy vending at the Crop Classix events and plan to participate in as many as possible in 2013. At this particular crop (April 14-15), we knew the turnout was low, but we committed to support the event organizer and hope for the best. We would call it a success if we made enough to cover our hotel bill. After we finished setting up our booth, we placed the Honor Book on the table and left to check into our hotel and to grab a bite of lunch. Much to our surprise, when we returned, we sold some product! Like, almost enough product to cover the first night’s hotel bill. But that was just the beginning. By the end of the weekend, we covered our expenses plus some. Even more important, we made new friends and had a wonderful time. This layout shows off some of our new croppin’ friends learning new techniques. The flowers around the edge of the layout were blooming outside the convention center.
