Morgan's First Christmas

Eleven-month old Morgan Grace Cook was obviously having a wonderful Christmas on December 25, 2011. This is my practically perfect grandbaby girl being assisted by her practically perfect grandbaby brother (3 years and 2 months, wearing a red baseball cap). Somehow, nontraditional Christmas colors seemed appropriate, setting off the girlishness of it all most efficiently. I’ll be using this same layout using more traditional colors for Brayden’s Third Christmas pages. Both will serve as samples for my Mosaics Christmas class next month. I can’t wait to see what happens this year!

Diane, I really like your color scheme in this layout. The Christmas tree is very pretty and the colors you picked really make the whole layout pop!

Thanks so much for your encouragement. We just got in from visiting our grandbabies and grandtween (a 2.5 hour drive one way)so I'll have lots more subject matter. I'm also working on an all-mosaic scrapbook of my grandtween's early years. I just love this scrapbooking format/technique. It solve so many problems.

Bold color choice, it fits so well with the idea of a frosty winter day. Using mirror image page layouts is a nice balanced approach. Hard to believe another Christmas is just around the corner, you have me thinking through using some alternate colors this year.
