Sunset over the Pacific
Growing up on the East coast I have always had the opportunity to see the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean, while traveling to CA on a business trip I made it a priority to see the sun set over the Pacific. For this layout I took 2 of my favorite sunset pictures, enlarged them to 8x10 to make a background, I then used the remaining space for a title & overlaid a couple of candid shots from the evening. You will notice if you follow my boards I like to use double page layouts.

I like the idea of putting the matted photos on top of the backgrounds like that - I'll have to remember that!! Beautiful pictures!

Went to California for the first time a few years back and that was one of my priorities too...plus sticking toes in the freezing water! Nice job!
