Lest we forget.
Adding a few notes to my post on my blog. The top collage was of photos from around the internet, but the remainder were from a trip in 2008 and are mine. We were headed to Virginia when traffic started to back up, an accident ahead in a construction zone. I noticed the sign said Shanksville and thought...perfect opportunity! so we came off in search of the memorial areas. One was at a small chapel, and the other one at the site of the crash. It will look different today as I understand they have been working on the memorial...one day I'll return, it isn't far and could be a day trip...If you are in the area be sure to stop and remember.

Love the flag background for the collage. I really want to go there sometime. My family and I will never forget. I even have tears in my eyes typing this . . Sob . . .
