MMDT September Challenge #1 Cookie Jar

For this challenge, we were asked to take photos of a collection. Although I have several "collections", I chose to use my cookie jars as the focus of this challenge. These bright ceramic jars sit on top of the cabinets in my kitchen and make me smile when I look at them.

I chose to use coordinating colored 1" squares to fill in the spaces in between the photos. I also googled images of chocolate cookies and cut them out with a small circle punch.  The design is simple but I think it shows off the collection well.

I love the way you showcased your collection. Do you keep cookies in them all?

Love the layout and the idea of documenting your collection - or, I should say, ONE of your collections! It's giving me ideas!!!

I have a Pillsbury Doughboy cookie jar just like yours! I love cookie jars too - I think mostly because they make me think of Christmas. My mom would always have at least 4 or 5 different kinds lined up at Christmas time. And it was the one time of year I could eat as much as I wanted! Love your collection and the idea of using the cookies as embellishments!

Bright, Bold and very clever! Love the colors you used and making your own embellishments with the cookies is so fun! Looks great set against the black MM grid, and the hap hazard placement of the title keeps you moving along.
